Tom Steeves has been a successful real estate entrepreneur and investor for more than 35 years. He has a proven track record of purchasing single- and multi-family properties throughout eastern Massachusetts, including Somerville, Medford, Millis, Medway, Bellingham, and Franklin. Tom began his career in real estate as a licensed real estate broker, who wisely began acquiring undervalued properties for his own portfolio. Tom became a self-employed real estate investor in 1987, and has continued buying and managing residential properties for the past quarter century. Tom also has several years of experience in the commercial real estate arena, which he acquired while working for Berman & Sons, leasing and managing commercial and residential real estate in downtown Boston and surrounding suburbs from 1990 – 1992.
Tom actively seeks investors to take advantage of current real estate market conditions and opportunities.
On a personal note, Tom enjoys reading self-help books and is currently re-reading (5th time!), “Nothing Down” by Robert Allen. Tom credits his success to being a hands-on landlord/manager/investor who is not afraid to get his fingernails dirty. Tom’s management philosophy is based on two fervently held beliefs: 1) Always use Benjamin Moore’s Navaho White for interior paint and exterior trim – it goes with anything. 2) Joint Compound can fix almost any building interior challenge.
